"Let spiders live in the morning, kill spiders at night" - Old Japanese superstition

This is Aracnasty in her Primal Toon Kaiju form. The small figure next to her indicates how large she is compared to an average adult, since I'm bad with exact measurements.

As one of the Primal Toon Kaiju, she served under Nightmaraster Wolf for a time.

She lives behind the Joren falls in Japan, only coming out at night to fight againt her rival Nekocake Kuroberry (a toon nekomatta, which is a fork-tailed cat) and her husband Gasher Kuroberry (a toon gashadokuro, which is a starving skeleton in Japanese myth). Every night she fights them in Izu city, and every night, they manage to beat her, forcing her to retreat back to her watery lair.

These fights are filmed and viewed on live TV by Japanese audiences, and English-Subbed videos were released outside of Japan only after the existance of living toons was made puplic knowledge by Silly Road's first appearance when she fought Don Dango for the first time.

Aracnasty will fight against Nekocake and Gasher in her Kaiju form, but she has a much smaller form which she uses to seduce men.

Her body can release powerful spores to stun her opponents, and her venom leaves her victims in burning pain, seeing the world melt around them - in other words, one really bad acid trip!

She also has night vision, and her pointy ears grant her exceptional hearing. The webs she spins are as strong as steel cables which no mortal human can ever rip, but they can still be burned away with fire. She can stick to any suface, and is not easily blown away even in hurricane-force winds. Her Toon Warrior form is a jorogumo. In this form, her body produces a powerful pheromone that attracts men to her, and makes them willing to be with her even knowing she will devor them - they die in a state of bliss!

She has done this 6 times in the past, and each time, she has produced an eggsack full of her children, who are all daughters. The number of daughters she has total 1,000, and they are all spread across Japan, with each of the 8 regions having 125 of them. While most of them are stock toons, only a small handful of them are unique toons who are stronger than the rest of their sisters; These are the Unlucky Seven. More details on them later.

You see, in the Japan of this world, living toons are counted as Yokai. Many of the people there who don't know their real origin have 2 theories on their origin; while some believe that the atom bombs' explosion caused a rip to open to the Yokai Spirit World, unleashing them into theirs, others believe that they are actually mutated lifeforms caused by the atomic radiation.

In Japan, the people know 2 types of "yokai": Aracnasty and her 1,000 daughters who spread terror and fear at night, and the other type are Nekocake, her skeletal husband, and their daughters, along with any little orphan child who is given the chance to be a cute "yokai" (toon) and never have to grow up - the good toons in Japan are called Guardian Yokai, and protect humans from the 1,000 Kumomusume (literally Spider Daughters in Japanese).

Aracnasty loves the attention she and her daughters are given, and even though she never wins, she loves knowing she and her daughters pretty much have the run of the country at night. She's taken full advantage of Japan's beliefs in supernatural entities, and is content to stay in Japan where she is a celebrity, and merchendise in the images of her and her daughters are sold. She doesn't care about the money - she just loves the fame!

Aracnasty Spider: My daughters and I pretty much run Japan at night! Because of us, Japan has a strict curfew: every human citizen must be inside as soon as the last light of the Sun fades, because that's when we come out! Because the men I ate were in a state of bliss when I sucked them dry (I'm a spider, what did you expect?), all my daughters love me. I even gave some of them the dehydrated powdery remains of those men in order to give them nourishment to grow into stronger forms. Though I will say this: it is very rude to call any of my daughters Jorogumo if they are minors. It has to do with the original Japanese translation of Jorogumo, and I won't tell you - D.A. would most likely have a fit if I did! You'll get to see what my daughters look like pretty soon, so look forward to that, my lovelies!
