Oh look another "muh poor anarchists in Catalonia" reference that ancoms never shut up about, DESPITE the fact that even participants noted that the anarchists undermined their own system and that the socialists actions were in response to the utter lack of discipline shown by them (which allowed the fascists to win as a unified force.

problem. Russia was never with the YPG. they were exclusively with the SAA. and there job was to get the SAA into a favorable position and leave.Β would you prefer them toΒ do the same as the US did to Iraq?Β

Funny how Middle Eastern Anarchists are relying on a country that is the modern day equivalent of Fascism(With a hint of the Czar) to fight the Fascists. XD
Of course this is Rojava and are an actual Anarchist group that strive for a Secular Middle Eastern State without the Baβathism part, unlike those Tumblr users who cosplay as Communist Ninjas who screech like emus when they see a trash can.
I am actually quite surprised to see you commenting on Social Anarchist artwork Black Leigionary?

Do you think assad would take a deal to give Rojava independence in order to keep turkey out?

I think it's more likely Erdogan would compromise and make a deal with Assad to squash the Kurds! Remember, the existence of Rojava is real, material support to Kurdish rebellion in Turkey. Weapon production, oil, trucks, ammo, medicine.... It is a real threat to Turkey. Erdogan would chose Assad over the Kurds.Β

Turkey is much more concerned with the Kurds than with Assad. If he took control of Rojava, they probably wouldn't even bother invading it. The question is whether the Kurds can withstand this attack while maintaining independence.

Hm i see.
Then again Id hardly think Assad would like the turks getting eve closer to governmnt controlled land considering the've been funding the very people their fighting.Β

Well, so far, Russia/Assad's plan seems to be to use the threat of Turkey to blackmail the Kurds into surrendering territory. They refused to hand over Afrin and now Russia is letting Turkish planes use regime-controlled airspace.Β
