Description Before I go on, this is actually based off a real thing. And by real thing, I mean a hoax that has produced obviously true photos such as this  and this .
And yes, it is odd how people used to search for a species of trout that had hair growth tonic spilled on them, which is one of the theories of how they came into existence...
I had this guy finished on Friday but due to a busy weekend I unfortunately wasn't able to post this guy for a while, though doing research for a suitable design has allowed me to give you this bit of advice; Never type furry trout into DA. Ever.
Anyway I hope you lot enjoy this mob, partially because it's the first passive mob I've ever made in a very long time ;3, and remember to leave a comment that exceeds two words

Fur Bearing Trout
 Mob Type: Passive
 Health Points: 15
Attack Damage Points (flailing about): 2

Spawns: Underneath the ice of Frozen Rivers
Behaviour: The behaviour of a fur bearing trout is pretty simple when compared to other cube shaped wildlife. They paddle about, underneath large plains of ice, and just like squids they will die after a short period of time on land. However, there's a twist to this weakness that all fish suffer from. When on land, fur bearing trout will flail about so rapidly that any players hit by the trout's body will be damaged somewhat. They can also be bred with each other by using spider eyes, to create teeny fur bearing trout for trout farms.

Drops:
 0 - 1 Fish
 2 - 3 Wool
 0 - 2 Experience Points
 1 *Trout Egg (every 2 - 7 minutes)

*When thrown, it has a 1⁄5 chance of spawning a young Fur Bearing Trout.

Woolly Trout I say! Another interesting idea/myth I say! Good show yet again ol' chap! The concept that I find quite odd is this "flail" attack I say. Quite unorthodox and unexpected indeed!

"No sheep? Stuck in the tundra with no food or warmth? Then you have a once in a lifetime chance to score a fur bearing trout today! *fast voice* Rabies not included."

Anyway. I must ask, do you have small "bug problems" with techne at the moment? I may have found some really useful fixes to make techne a bit more enjoyable I say!

Why thank you very much! Especially about the flailing, as I had planned it to give player more thought into hitting those hairy haddock impersonators (an attempt at alliteration that failed somewhat). Excellent advert there. I'll get my people to call your people. Then, we'll start with billboards
Well since you ask, I don't truly have bugs though I find the 'angling' system of Techne to be very irritating to use (which is why I rarely use it)

Pretty cool design. I've heard about the Furred Trout myth before; it's surprising just how many people believed in it, given how ridiculous it is.
