Qwilfish Patrol

"Don't worry Mister Claus, I will be right there beside you!" Jewel placed her paw on his arm.
Claus knew the practice he'd been having with her was slowly chipping away at his fear of being under water... But it was still very reassuring to know he wouldn't be going into the ocean by himself. Together they submerged, and the riolu led the way to their station. Although he wasn't able to see their reactions, he could tell by the amount of bubbles he felt that many of the qwilfish were devastated and angry. Good thing they weren't the type to shoot the messenger!

Security Detail

He was told you had to have an intimidating presence... And it took some time to really bring himself to a place that truly upset him. But once Claus managed to put that snarl on, there was literally no one who dared come near the money handlers. Even the handlers themselves were a little afraid to be escorted by such a vicious-looking zangoose. They were shocked such a gentle, old man was capable of going to such a dark place.

Construction Safety

With the amount of accidents occurring on the construction sites, Claus was quick to urge the amateurs to go home and leave most of the work to him. Of course, there was no way a lone mon could do so much work alone. There was still a handful that stayed on site, and the spunky Kasai showed up to help with the hauling of heavy wood and rocks. Occasionally, he'd have to haul away another injured mon, but there was certainly a decline in major accidents.

Technologic

Razor wasn't too sure if she had the proper tools to learn how the machinery worked ( tools being her unretractable claws ), but Wind the sandshrew seemed to pay it no mind. As long as she paid attention to the ins and outs of the wiring and power sources, it should be fine. It's not like her claws were conductive anyways -- or at least not when she was using Metal Claw -- not that she would ever need to!

Misbehaving Machine

It was a simple threat: she had just learned the basics of how the machines worked around the casino... But she hadn't practiced any of her knowledge yet. Who knew if she was actually a genius at it, or a completely failure? She presented this to the naughty machine, to see if it wanted to be her first test subject... It quickly reassured her that nothing was wrong with it, and there would be no further complaints about its behavior.

Plot Device

Razor and Claus were exhausted by the time they met up again. All they could think about was a nice, soft bed to crash in and maybe a meal. They didn't realize the dancer that Razor had 'met' before spotted them. He was actually looking for the sneasel, since he wanted to apologize for how uncomfortable she was around him. But he saw the tall zangoose with her, and thought to himself... It couldn't be, could it? There weren't that many tall zangooses like that...
"Dad...?" Axel mumbled to himself, and watched them leave out the door. Should he run after them? But, what if he was wrong? His hopes would be dashed so painfully... And he couldn't really leave the casino, he had his jobs to do! He had to support the family! He had to tell Amberlynn. She'd be able to track them down.
