Yo but you did a HELLA great job on this! The way the light bounces off the waves is fantastic! And you can just barely see the curve of Merry's horns (or maybe that's just my screen brightness lmao).
I think the composition would've benefitted from a wider canvas so Merry would be less centered and more to the left, but maybe that would've taken some of the focus off the klabautermann... hmmm...
I rlly wonder if we'll ever get to see Sunny's klabautermann that'd be great

AAYY thank you so much, haha damn though the waves were a pain to do. I kept putting them off to the point where I was reaching my deadline, so I went screw it and spent a few solid hours just painting them. >.>
And as for the composition I think I'll try what you suggested. But most likely thing will be I have to repaint a lot of stuff since I drew everything in a single layer. xD
Same here, I'd love to see Sunny's Klabautermann but then again I rather not cause they only appear when the ship is in danger right? I don't want Sunny to have the same fate as poor Merry. :'[
