Honestly, I don't actually have much to say about this season, because really this is just season 2's second half but continued over an entire season.

This season continued a lot of the great aspects that season prior was already doing great at, such as creative satires and simplistic but effective plots, unique episode formats (ex. Krusty Krab Training Video), some of the best comedy in the entire show, and just overall being a delight to watch. I can watch any episode from this season and I can guarantee at least 10 laughs from the entire thing, and this season is really easy to watch due to its simplicity and how plain fun it is. This season also has a lot more series bests and perfect episodes, as they are scattered all over the season.

The second half is a small downgrade though. The first half on its own would probably be a perfect season, but then second half didn't have as many. I'm most referring to The Great Snail Race-Pranks a Lot, which although is still just as funny as the episodes before them, they didn't feel as clever with their writing and this was also when pre-movie's simplicity started to wear off (Born Again Krabs, although a fun episode, did feel a bit too simple to gain a higher rating). That being said, the comedy in basically every episode here is so damn strong that I can forgive any weak plot since it still manages to make me laugh, an accomplishment that very few shows manage to do for me. This season is what most people remember SpongeBob as it is close to the peak, however not even this is my favorite season. That is coming up soon.
