Description An impressive example of a truck that cemented Mack trucks on the Australian Scene, the B61. This stunning example is named 'Ramblin' Rose' and it is a hugely impressive old rig.

The venerable B61 was, is, and always will be the most reliable Mack out there, and by far the sexiest
We still have a few down here where I live

There are still heaps of them here in Australia, mostly in collector fields now

Damn. Im gonna have to move over there then. Been trying to pick one up for a project but no one wants to part with theirs and the rest are too far gone to try and restore.
Plus, Mack Inc here in the States does not allow the Titans to have sleepers, but Mack Australia does :/

Australia had them from 1959 (IIRC) and were still building them alongside the R model in the first two years as a backup in case the R model was a flop

"B Models are like a$$holes, everyone's got one"

Lol, I've heard a quote similar to that only it was not related to Mack trucks.

Some of the most impressive truck pics on DA! Australian trucks are the best. Did you ever get to see the giant earthworms of Queensland?

It was on a Discovery Channel (when they used to show nature documentaries) "Nigels, Wild, Wild World" about the world's largest invertebrates.
