Description
I'm pretty sure this is history-in-the-making! This is a combination of 3 different processes in photography.1) I shot this with my dedicated infrared camera, so this is an "iR" photograph.
2) This is also a HDRI (High Dynamic Range Image). I used 5 exposures that range +-2 EV. Processed in Photomatix Pro.
3) And, lastly, this is also an Anaglyph. Anaglyphic images are created by shooting "left eye" and "right eye" images and assigning each a color (Red/Blue) so that when viewed through 3D glasses, the image appears to have dimension.
...since I used 5 exposures "left" and 5 exposures "right", that tells you that 10 photographs were taken to create this one image.
In summary: I think this is the world's first:
"Infrared HDR Anaglyph".
Dig out those old 3D glasses! (Red goes over LEFT eye)
BTW, if you back away from the screen (3-5 ft), the 3d effect will be greatly enhanced!!!
I'm not liking the low contrast of this image, though.

well, I haven't seen any infrared HDRI anaglyphs before, kudos for originality

Thank you! I'm disappointed with the contrast, though.

Thank you!
Keep those glasses handy, I have other anaglyphs in my gallery, too. I may post more in the future... and when you get bored looking at mine, do a DA search for anaglyph and you'll get a zillion more!

Oh, if you back away from the anaglyphs, the 3D space gets deeper. Give it a try when you get a chance.

Cool! The area around the door is the best on the 3D effect.
