Description
The second and last part to his reference, his clothing sheet: fav.me/d64vvn5General Information!:
Name: JuryRig (He does indeed have a more normal name, however, he prefers to be called JuryRig).
Nicknames: Jury, Mr. Sunshine.
Age: 34 years old
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Saliva: Is a teal in coloration, *Ignore the sheet on this one!*, and tastes of jackfruit when aroused. (What is a jackfruit? Here: 2.bp.blogspot.com/-UywiFHPYH5w… )
Friends: (Always accepting of new peeps!) Onyx fav.me/d5yvoz9 , Puck fav.me/d65p4u9 , Evel blazedenosferatu.deviantart.co… , Rue fav.me/d69pfh7 , Spoons fav.me/d5r48sc , Sammy fav.me/d671dma , Meadow fav.me/d64y06l , Grawlix fav.me/d6b6hoi
Best Friend: Sniper fav.me/d5wjg33
Mate: Kooza ( fav.me/d65j6wv )
Child: Tesla (fav.me/d71o2zb )Relationship Descriptions
Onyx: Jury meets Onyx via his connection with her lover, Sniper. While they don't talk all that much due to the other MTT's very aloof nature, Jury has much respect for Onyx and would probably trust her indefinitely.
Puck:
Evel: Jury meets Evel during a visit to one of the local bars. He was accompanying a co-worker of his from the ASP and the two just started talking. They have opposing personalities, and tend to be very sarcastic towards each other, but still value each other as friends.
Rue: The two know each other through two mutual friends. While Jury doesn't entirely see eye to eye with her, he still finds that she is a very nice girl.
Spoons: Jury meets Spoons in one of Spoons' clinics while he oversaw the treatment of a perp during one of his routine busts with the police department he worked with. The two began talking as both of them share a dislike of the people who regularly come to Spoons' clinic--drug addicts--, and they naturally become friends.
Sammy:
Meadow:
Grawlix:
Sniper: They meet through Onyx, and have since then bonded fairly quickly as comrades in arms, although Jury doesn't work in the same department as either Sniper or Onyx. Jury considers Sniper one of his closest friends in the ASP, and will often treat the younger MTT to things like drinks when the work day ends.
Kooza: They meet during one of the days Jury takes off from his workplace. On a whim, he decides to see a performance that was on tour in the city. During the performance, a lone performer catches his eye and, after the show, Jury decides to sneak backstage in order to speak to said performer. The two hit it off from there... and the rest's history.
Height: 6"3 while human, shrinks down to 6"0 when in dragon form.
Weight: 210 lbs. while human, but balloons up to 320 lbs. while a dragon! (Ignore the typo in the ref sheet, I'll fix it when I get the time!)
Date of birth: April 28th
Occupation: Researcher/inventor for the Research and Development Department for the ASP.
Physical Build:
Strong and a little on the bulky side. His background as an authority figure was a major contributer to the way JuryRig's body looked pre-ASP. He was mainly a field officer, one of the people going out and arresting criminals instead of sitting behind a desk all day filing paperwork. (His favorite method of arrest involved charging at a perp and knocking them out with a full body tackle while in dragon mode-- he doesn't need to use his gun and more often than not, it gets him his guy.) However, since being recruited into the ASP, Jury has had to rely on things like his dumpster diving for exercise, since the research and testing of the various equipment for the ASP doesn't have him running and jumping around nearly as much as he'd like. As a result, Jury begins to slim down some from losing previous muscle tone, but keeping enough for him to remain a mostly active person. Sports a very slight gut from an indulging diet.
Injuries? Scars?:
- Slightly deaf in one ear due to failing to use sound-proof headsets on the police academy's shooting range.
- Isn't as fit than when he was at the peak of his police career-- but he doesn't mind the bit of flab at his gut.
- He's got a couple holes and such in his ears when he used to wear some weighty rings and studs. When he was employed at a police precinct, however, he took them off so that his new peers would take him seriously... And most likely to help meet the dress code.
- The right side of his face is peppered with scars, due to an accident in which he poured an experiment's battery acid on himself. He got off lightly, and doesn't feel much need to cover the scars up.
- His right hand also sports light scarring from the same accident.
Personality:
An upright and morally conscious individual, JuryRig has a strict sense of right and wrong, and makes it a point to uphold his own moral code, whatever the cost. Due to this, he sees himself as a champion to the weaker man, and always gives 110% of his all to a cause he deems fit. Consequently, he can be seen as something of a stick-in-the-mud, with almost all of his time given to work-related problems, which only get worse when he is recruited into the ASP. Shows a more care-free side to the people he knows and trusts-- which he gives freely to anyone with a kind word to say to him, but makes it difficult to earn back when an individual crosses him.
Background:
Coming from a relatively normal household, the only trauma JuryRig could honestly attest to was witnessing a robbery of his neighbor's house while the owners were away. He couldn't do anything at the time, but he did try to stop the burglars, only to be cast aside like a rag doll while they continued their crime. While he felt no special connection with the victims of the robbery, he took it as a personal insult that he wasn't able to do anything, and vowed to become stronger in order not to let people such as the robbers get their way again. Graduating with top marks at his school, JuryRig went on to study in an elite police academy, where he also graduated with flying colors, all to support his innate need for justice. He made a name for himself in the precinct he was hired at, but an incidental run-in with a Cult of the Sun member during a routine bust changed the MTT's life for good. Due to his detailed digging, JuryRig found layer after layer of information regarding the Cult, and sure enough, was soon brought in by a recruiter for the ASP. He jumped at the chance to join the organization, citing the Cult as an evil that needed to be brought down. To his disappointment, however, he was placed in the Research Department, where his intellect would be put to better use. Although he isn't as happy with his placement as he could be, JuryRig finds much joy in contributing to the organization's ever growing cache of gadgets and weaponry.
Special quirk:
True to his name, JuryRig has a habit of assembling small whimsical tools from whatever is at his disposal. Early on, however, he learns that not all his collegues like it when he takes all their office supplies and makes things like pencil-slinging miniguns. So to fund his hobby, he takes it upon himself to 'collect' various items from places like the Junction City dump. At any moment in time, he keeps a large assortment of 'goodies' wherever he works, so that whenever he's stuck on something, he can always make a little doohickey whenever the moment strikes him.
Random facts:
- Real name? --> 'John Riggs'. No one but his immediate family knows this, however. And maybe his employers over at ASP.
- Despite his intelligence, one thing that JuryRig is infamous for is the sheer unpredictability of his creations. Just like his name suggests, consequently, while he can make many 'somethings' out of 'nothing', whatever Jury makes may break after its purpose has been fulfilled, and sometimes even before then. Whenever a device of his breaks is completely up to chance, so it isn't very reliable.
- To combat this, JuryRig relies heavily on his fellow colleagues in ASP-- He can draw up or think of any matter of convenient gadgets for the field agents to utilize, but he'll often leave it to his comrades to 'stabilize' his designs.
- The fact above has nothing to do with his incompetence, as easy as it is to believe... Jury can sometimes be as scatter-brained as the technology he creates, causing the normally prodigal MTT to move onto a new project in an instant, leaving the older ones to gather dust.
- He doesn't show much fussiness over the partners he takes on. Be they male, female, human, MTT, or otherwise, Jury is a believer in the whole 'love has no boundaries' shtick.
-In fact, Jury himself has had a somewhat extensive history in romantic partners. (*Coughmanwhorecough*)
- He isn't too much of a cuddler, but is often so tired after his work with the ASP that he will more often than not spend quite a bit of time in bed with his partner anyway.
- Unfortunately, he has a very domineering personality underneath his quiet and determined exterior. Anyone looking to take this guy out should expect a lot of things on his terms. On the flip side, however, Jury can be a very low-maintenance partner, not at all clingy. (He is prone to mild jealousy, however!)
- Most of his past relationships have ended fairly peacefully, however. At worst, Jury won't speak to or talk about the other person, but at best, he still regards his ex as a friend and will even continue being a small part of his ex's life, and they his.
-The hair color shown on this sheet isn't his original hair color-- his original hair color is a shade of blue that matches with the color on his ears and limbs. He just prefers it darker.
- Despite his strict moral code, JuryRig himself can be very prone to corruption if done subtly enough. For example, his continuous research into the Cult of the Sun prior to him being recruited into the ASP stirred much interest in him. If he wasn't taken in when he was and told the correct information, JuryRig could very well have become a Cult member.
- He has a soft spot for romance! Movies, books, you name it, he's very likely to have seen and liked it. Although even knowing this, he would never admit to this dirty little secret.
- Never says no to a second helping of synthetic chocolates!

You're welcome. I understand that with humans. They can be difficult to draw. ;v; But, with enough practice, time, and effort, it all comes together.

Of course, of course! Practice makes perfect. ^^ I'm almost done with one of my sketchbooks, the next one I'm devoting entirely to human drawings, so hopefully I'll be better at the end. XD

One thing I see needing to be changed, MTT mouth colors usually match the inside of the ears. Other that that great job, and best of luck in the contest!

Yes, but I was going for the common MTT skin color yellow. I thought it would look better in this case since underneath their patterns all MTT are yell.
But I will change it just in case it really is a problem.

I can understand that. But all MTTs are like that, except for a few exceptions and even then it's not as drastic. You might want to check with Ann to see if it's okay.
