Hey remember when Reagan's cutbacks aggravated a national homeless problem created by careless mass release of patients from mental institutions and the gentrification of cheap housing in big cities. Spent billions of dollars funding the Islamist "Mujahidin Freedom Fighters" in Afghanistan. Increased unemployment from 7.5% at the start of his term to 11% at the end of it. Tripled the national debt from $900 million at the start of his term to $2.8 trillion at the end of it. Gave amnesty to three million undocumented immigrants in 1982 so that corporations hire them at a cheaper rate than they would an American citizen and ignored the growing epidemic of AIDS until several years into his Presidency. Wasn't that stuff neat?
