Fantastic shading as always. Such fluidity of motion, and to be honest, kind of creepy. lol It reminds me of a mass of writhing flesh morphing into something as yet to be determined. I absolutely love this, and all your work.

The profile toe looks triumphant, though, as if it is giving a cheeky "toes-up" even while falling. Is this the human spirit refusing to be vanquished by anything? Poking its toe through the fabric of defeat? saying "I live even though I fall and die. I will return!"

True. Time is only ever thwarted by children, who are in turn his victims. Time is the big Unknown Unseen. But if you can do something between being born and having to leave then that gives you a chance to give this gift to others who can keep passing it on. Ultimately, Time wins, but not if we can stay just a little ahead.
