Wow this piece is very interesting! I assume this is a completely original image? I believe the piece has great overall form, and it grabbed my attention immediately out of other drawings I saw on the critique page. The hatching is beautiful! My only critical comments pertain to very particular things- The foot that is sitting on the top block (wood block?) almost looks like it is part of the block because for the most part it contains the same texture and overall tones of the block. Maybe the base of the foot could have a little more hatching? or even the block around it could be darker. The hand that is grabbing the block also looks just a bit too light, and would stand out over the block if just a little darker.

The last detail is always the piece that comes less well: I always am in hurry to finish to start a new job! In fact, that foot, was the last piece that I drew! Thank you for the time you have spent to get this nice and positive critique...

I see there is no way up or down with that posture.
The mechanics of such a body in motion is not lending itself to getting higher or lower.
It's jammed despite such muscularity and white-knuckling.

This is what happens when an individual is terrorised by a choice of directions instead of becoming the master of one well chosen path. He seems to like the upright one and is staring at it but perhaps that is just because it is the one expected to be reliable. (Never expect anything to be reliable.)

I have learned to avoid tying new knots and am still untying old knots. Some are very tight and some are tied with steel cable.
