redux — seaside - driftwood anaglyph

Description a fairly simple shot taken by karen (credit where credit is due ), but perfect to test a further technique used for anaglyphic image creation: achieving a "faked" 3D look based on a single 2D image - via a combination of duplication of layers, masking, and slight enlargement of individual planes.

so, more or less an exercise to conclude my preliminary excursion in the realms of photographic 3D.

previous techniques used:

- "true" 3D based on two separate shots taken by two individual cameras (in this case, in a photo booth) [link]
- "faked" 3D composition of two completely separate images [link]

after these, i'm now ready to tackle true stereography...stay tuned for more
