Description
***Perhaps tonight I'll head to downtown to grab some dinner...
***
Hoo, boy...it's been a while since I drew an artwork with high amount of detail like the automotive festival scene one. After the last two artwork concentrating in character showcase with no background, I thought it is time to do a detailed background art. I recognized that I had a unfinished sketch of Len's workshop lying around, so I guessed that I'll take the opportunity to finish it. And here it is, the yellow shark here tuning and checking up her personal ride! It seems like she was already finished her job and now just need to put on the parts back.
Pretty proud with the result, as this artwork has a lot of props which require more time and attention in the drawing process. Not mentioning that most of them are extremely small to be drawn which I need to sharpen the pencils a lot! I still have the collection of the pencil flakes in the container where I store it until now hahaha I think I pretty much nailed this one good, minus the circular props which I drew it sloppily without the aid of bow pencil or such.
I think that's all, I hope you enjoy! Do give a constructive feedback if you have one so I can improve much better in the future
Artwork and character Leana Clifford belongs to me

No problem! I'd imagine so! Looks like a ton of work, so I commend you for sticking to it!
Happy to see you're still doing well and making art.

Aaahhh itβs so fab like omg!! I still love looking around at all this and thereβs a few things I missed before that I quite love, like the padding for Leanas fins as well as the grease marks on the underside of her tail and the tiny cubbies with stuff in them itβs like so fab! Also I love the transitioning colours for the sunset!!

I'm much flattered that you like it! I guess it won't be funny to get some serious scratches upon dragging it around, or accidentally picking up some weird liquid or wild animals poop. So I thought why not having a bit sleeve for that part.
As for the oil stains, I think it will give the pic a sense of time progression aside with the scattered tools. Looks like she'd have quite a time cleaning herself after the work alright. Then I just put that mini cabinets since from what I see from reference pics of garages, some do have something like that to store up small stuff like nails and screw, lamps, other mini spareparts, and else.
Speaking of the sky colors, perhaps sometimes I need to try some different variation like orange-red, pink-purple, and such to be honest.

^w^ Oh god no, dnweefnekawlwnj just all the skin stripped from rough concrete haha lol don't go to a farm then. X33 Ya I agree with you there like an overall active scene as well in a way, haha yea a full bath would definitely be in order. Yea, remember in mechanics we had one for tire weights and it got messed up a lot haha. X33 Ooh ok I think that might be nice, would love to see like an orange and purple if you try that as well!

Thank you! I'd say time well spent to add up more props to make it as realistic as possible! Β

Yes definitely! They all allow the ambient to be much more believable

Love that you give your character's a background. Looks like she has her own story to tell with her workshop.
The background art is pretty neat, and clean for the coloring. I can tell you work a lot with it, and use references for the background.
It's probably just me but is the car to small or is it designed that way?

Image scaling is hard especially when you're new to drawing, I have ever get the characters height too big, and just realized it when you either finished it or just happen to look the art when it is made 2 days ago. I recommend to show it to other people about the art in the sketch stage, a clear one preferred. After that use the ruler to get the height rights. It'd be better if you draw the car for example, as a box first so you can see how it's scaled, after that you can make a new sketch of the car.Β
