I'm not going to lie. When I first saw this, I was like, "Holy Apocolypse Now, Batman!?" The way the light is fractured through the cloudcover...it looked like a really nasty microburst or an explosion of some kind. Then, you explained what happened in your comments -- which, I hate it say, is about twenty different kinds of lame compared to what the image appeared to be showing, which in my mind was all of heaven about to erupt into flames.
Either way, though...GREAT shot, my friend!

Beautiful. What really caught my eye though is that there appears to be a woman's face under the water. I'm sure it's just an allusion, but it's a fabulous effect.
