In Star Wars, the Tython system was a star system of the Deep Core from Gamma Quadrant of Sector 5, named for the planet Tython . An important world in the history of the Jedi Order ,[1] Tython was orbited by the moon Ashla .[4] Tython was eventually abandoned when the ever-changing hyperlanes in the region drifted away from the planet. Krev Coeur: A Desert planet was a planet with no moons that was located within the Tython system of the galaxy's Deep Core region,[1] at galactic coordinates L-10.[3] The world occupied the fourth orbital position around its sun Tythos .[1] Krev Coeur had a breathable atmosphere ,[4] but it was so hot and the surface was so arid that life-forms could not survive on it without protection. The planet's surface was pockmarked with inactive volcanoes [1] and also featured a large amount[6] of blue crystals .[4] In Krev Coeur's underground, however, a completely different ecosystem existed, with rain falling in a vast network of caverns and lakes. Plants that were considered to be strange and alien thrived in jungles that grew in the caves

The Martyrium of Frozen Tears was built by Jedi there, and some Jedi scholars made the case that Tython was the site of the Jedi Order's first temple . During the Galactic Civil War , Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra led the Imperial commander Darth Vader to Tython's Meridional Ice Cap to mislead him as to the location of the Rebel Alliance's main base , which was actually on the Outer Rim planet Hoth . The planet Tython takes 31.5 hours and 524 days to complete for orbit around the year.

By 25,793 BBY , Kalimahr had become a business and religious center of the system , boasting a high-density, well-integrated population and cities built out of white metal, along with tall spires. Kalimahr was referred to as the "jewel of the Tython system" by that time .

Shikaakwa: A Terrestrial planet was a planet that was located within the Tython system of the galaxy's Deep Core region. The planet had a breathable atmosphere and was covered by landmasses and expanses of ocean . Shikaakwa was colonized more than a millennium after the year 36,453 BBY by the non–Force-sensitive settlers of the planet of Tython . Eventually, Shikaakwa came to be ruled by feudal gangster clans known as the Nine Houses . In 25,805 BBY , the Twi'lek female Hadiya , who came to be known as the Despot Queen , united the Shikaakwan crime lords under her rule and began to take over the Settled Worlds of the Tython system . Hadiya's actions brought her into conflict with the mystic Je'daii Order , which sided with those members of the Shikaakwan aristocracy resisting the tyrant's reign. During the ensuing war, Hadiya and her army attacked the Je'daii on Tython, however, the Twi'lek queen herself was killed in that battle.
Following the death of Hadiya, Shikaakwa fell into political infighting. By 25,793 BBY , Shikaakwa had come to serve as a nexus between the inner and the outer Settled Worlds. That year, the Devaronian Kallak assassin Jaris Kan tried to kill Shikaakwan Baron Volnos Ryo in the baron's own fortress , however, his assassination attempt was thwarted by Ryo's daughter Tasha . A couple of months later, Baron Ryo contacted his wife Kora from Shikaakwa and demanded that she return Tasha there.

Ska Gora: A Green T'kani Prime-like Planet was a verdant forest planet that was located within the Tython system of the galaxy's Deep Core region. More than thirty-six thousand years before the Battle of Yavin , the non–Force-sensitive settlers of the planet Tython colonized Ska Gora. Most of the planet's population lived in city-ships that floated above Ska Gora's surface, but when the Wookiee warlord Gharcanna led members of his species to illegally settle the surface, the matter ended in a conflict that saw the illegal settlers dead and swaths of the apex tree forests ablaze.
