Every big city has its share of crowds, and usually the easiest places to find them is along the crosswalks of its busy streets.

This is the first time in a long time I've attempted a city scene, so I thought Id do one here. I honestly don't think I've ever posted any of my past attempts at doing them here, that's how long ago its been. If I ever come across them I'll definitely post them.

Originally this was going to be simple a rough sketch of a few commuters, but I decided to go ahead and include a full background. While this scene itself is very busy and complex, I wanted to keep things simple with the color pallete. All the ink work was done using two ballpoint pens. One that's blue, and another that's 4 colors. Red, Blue, Green, and Black. And 4 extra colors from colored pencils; yellow, magenta, light blue, and brown.

While I've done crowd scenes before, I wanted to do something else that has more of an urban feel More along the Subway Sardines one I did a while back. www.deviantart.com/reggiejwork…
