Weird, I been on a small kick with experimenting with more abstract like works lately.

This came out from a bout of sketching I did this weekend while listening to John McLaughlin's first album, Extrapolation. While McLaughlin (guitarist) is as good as always. Its the saxophonist , John Surman,who really steals the show! Him switching between baritone and soprano saxes really helps add a unique sound that's different from anything else McLaughlin has done since this album.

After looking it over the rough sketch for this, I knew this needed to be redone with my Bianyo Markers. I absolutely love how well this turned out! Some extra blending was done with my colored pencils
