Description
As much as a traditional hillbilly Fuzzy Lumpkins is, even he realized his prized possession/banjo, simply known as 'Joe', was long overdue for an upgrade. So with a bit of DIY hacks and many, many trials and errors, he gave 'Joe" a bit of a makeover.

So, I recently picked up some toned tan paper from Michaels. This is my first time ever drawing something with this type of paper. I got so say, I like it. The colored pencils really do pop against it, and its a little more thicker and durable than the manila sketch pad I recently got as well.

For the background filled with guitar pedals, I decided to also try out these Artist Gel Sticks I found at Ross. The best way I can describe these are a mix of oil pastel and crayon. Smooth and creamy to blend with, but with a slight waxy ness to them. Because gel sticks are a thicker and creamy medium, I decided to take a picture of this piece rather than risk seriously staining my scanner with this one.

I had a feeling I would return to drawing Fuzzy again, sooner or later!
