Hello there, y'all. It's winter break and that means I actually have time to DO ART STUFF. YAY. This is that one annoying comic I've been idley working on sporatically since.. what, April? T__T
In response to a lot of silliness I've witnessed over the years in the interbutt art world. I wanted to make fun of certain people who've made me laugh with all their ARTDRAMA. Popular art dramaaaaa!! Deviantart is like E! for artists, I swear. >__>

I believe you earn a style by drawing throughout all your life experiences. Styles are developing and changing all the time, just like people. They never stop. Your style is who you are, and even if people can copy it, they'll never come close to being you.
If you're offended by this, you are very very silly and missing the point of this comic. =/

even though you posted this long time ago, i have to comment on this whether I have before or not.
I like what you're trying to tell everyone here despite your harsh words toward the artists you made fun of in your artist's comment but many didn't seem to take it so badly.
yeah alot of people copy especially some in the beginning of their art but at least some actually break out of the shell and develop a whole style of their own. I believe I'm still searching mine but I like trying different styles cause I get bored with drawing the same kind of eyes or some crap like that. haha
but I see your message in here and i see why you had to get a bit harsh to spread your message.

Damn, is there really this much drama? I mean, i've seen drama on Fanfiction.net, Warcraft, Warhammer, Gamespot, Wikipedia, MySpace, and Facebook. But DA? I'm new here, and i don't really follow what people say. Anyway: pity some of the artists you satire have such crappy attitudes. I'm looking at their galleries, and i like a lot of the drawings. You did a great job, i particularly like panel 3 (I have a thing for naga) and 5 (GLOWSTICKS!).
I have to ask again, are the people really as bad as you claim?
My only complaint: i would take the names out of the description. I don't know, that just seems like a line that i wouldn't cross. Besides, i like subtle humor and jabs best.

yes, there is alot of drama on deviantart. 70%? I think even more.. And with drama i mean, people hating things (like twilight) and go batshit insane.. i admit i did it too. But fine.

I can actually draw in more than JV style...
and none of my friends care that that's how I draw.
it just makes my style different from the kids I hang out with.
Even though there are tons of people out there that draw just. like. me.
except they're probably better at it because they're even more obsessed.
and I don't draw exactly in that style, I twist and bend it here and there to make it my own... eventually it'll be more mine than his.
so...
