太平舞Taepyeongmu (태평무; literally "great peace dance") is a Korean dance with the function of wishing a great peace for the country. It is designated as one of the Important Intangible Cultural Properties of South Korea. Watch it here [link]

great colour. is that a koto in the background? i've only seen(and heard i have two koto albums) pictures but not one being played.

It's a gayageum, kind of like a Korean koto, both of which are similar to the Chinese guzheng

Sadly no, I've seen the gayageum and the koto being played, I even have a couple of friends who play the koto, but not me. Although I'd love to learn how to play the koto or the shamisen.
