I set a voting post some time ago to decide the classes for this picture. Scout won as the hunter and Heavy as his victim. This is good because I need to draw Heavy more often.

Different eating habits in the Loop heavily depend on how the world turned out to be. The most striking feature that distinguishes the locals is that apart from human flesh, they practically do not eat any other meat. But not because everyone secretly always wanted a simple bite on the buttocks among friends, - in fact, it's quite the opposite, the majority openly shows dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs. But little can be done with this, because other ready-made food with some other meat is often not available, and there are no large animals to hunt. You either humble yourself and eat people like all other people do, or over time your vegetarianism will lead you to being included in the menu of someone who had an easier time giving up on their principles.

Drinking blood as a way to improve the diet did not come immediately, in most places it still isn't a regular practice, and most are wary about the regions where the vampire lifestyle has won.
Otherwise, everything is very simple: liquids are mathematically more difficult to calculate than solids. Because of this, blood after the death of its owner does not disappear for a much longer time than the body and even than the pieces of the body - for blood, the counter can tick for up to half an hour, while the body does not lie for more than a couple of minutes. In half an hour blood can even be boiled, unlike meat, which always has to be eaten raw in a race with time. Blood is easy to use: you don't need to cut it, you don't need to chew it, everything happens very quickly. It will definitely spend some time inside you and will definitely affect satiety for the better. In the end, unlike a flesh donor, a blood donor is rather easier to find, and the longer the donor lasts the longer the blood, as a part of the still living body, can also be considered non-removable (not always, but there are ways to prolong its "life").

Despite the obvious advantages, drinking blood is considered even more barbaric than, well, eating your own kind, so the vast majority continue to exercise with gibs and invent ways to influence them so that they are calculated longer by the Machine and stay longer. Due to the taboo of the topic, euphemisms appeared: blood as part of the landscape is still called that, while the food object is often referred to as "liquid meat," or is not named at all.

Other liquids behave in the same way and obey the same laws, but obviously are less attractive as food.
