Life and Death...
One cannot have life, without death.
One cannot have death, without life.
When one falls, another will spring,
Ceaselessly.

With my wings comes the light,
and with my shadow comes the night.
Forever rooted into my tree
Will you see that I care dearly?
For you.

Of one I am made,
but two are inside.
We are to whom you cry
with the tears in which you scry.
We fly.

One is not evil,
nor the other good,
For we've hoped to change,
your mentality.
Fairness.

With light,
there comes shadow,
yet at each,
all you'll see is white.
Pure.

Chaotic but true,
forever and none,
One cannot have life,
Without death.
Peace.

There is a LOT of symbolism going on here.
Firstly, the dragon is white. (pearlish white but still), indicating a sense of pure heartedness.
Next, the wings. There are two different wings- one to represent life, and one for death. Guess which is which? I tried to make it obvious.
The tail, it has the roots of a tree, and with it comes life, the galaxy and all you know it, but at the same time, it brings darkness to the world.
White wood from a tree normally symbolizes that it is petrified and dead, although there is white wood that grows this way as well.
The golden ring around her body, symbolizes the unending unity of the two ways of life, also illustrated in my poem. It ends in a yin yang medallion, symbolizing peace and balance.
The jaw lines- one has seeds growing, the other, menacing spikes.
Two eyes- one is calm, wide, and thoughtful, the other red, dark, and understanding.
Two horns- One is wrapped in the vines of life, the other dripping with the blood of death.
Eagle wing- Symbolism of leadership, colored with an olive likeness, symbolizing peace.
Dragon wing- Symbolism of isolation and hardship, colored with royalty, and detailed in red.
There is also a yin yang colored symbol hanging between the two horns, showing the essence of life and death as well.

Please comment on what you enjoy most. It's been awhile since I've gotten a drawing up here, and while I am sorry for the delay, please know that I spent a damn good while planning this beautiful design.
