I swear, Kill la Kill just... just GETS me.The instant I saw Ryuko's "berserker" form in episode 12, I was just like "dude, fuck everything, I have to draw this RIGHT NOW." Why don't things like this happen more often in anime? I'd have cared a hell of a lot more about Dragonball Z if the Super Saiyan transformations looked like this, I'll tell you what.
Obviously the big problem with this drawing is that it's way too sexy, but other than that I kinda like it.

...Um, I hope the "sexy" part was either sarcasm or just a misapplied synonym for something like "awesome" or "badass". Because, while I may admit this looks awesome and badass, it's the furthest thing from "sexy" short of having this... THING Ryuko turned into actually ripping me apart.
Yeah, sorry if I potentially missed a joke in your description, but this is definitely the LEAST sexually attractive form for Ryuko that I can think of - if simply because my self-preservation instincts naturally tell me "the giant, Freakazoid-skinned, Jeff-the-Killer-smiling-on-face-and-crotch, bug-eyed, demon-horned, scissor-clawed monster currently going on a world-ending rampage is more likely to KILL YOU than DATE YOU!!! And even if it was, the aforementioned overly-toothy mouth and crotch would make any efforts in that department sufficiently self-defeating".

I agree, her monster mode looks very sexy.
In fact I find myself drawing more of her in her angry psycho mode than anything else.
This is a great rendition of her too, even more psycho-looking than in the show.

Suit yourself, but again, she acts like a deranged lunatic in this mode, so running away should probably be common sense.
Now if she were to politely ask me out for a tea-and-crumpets party, I'd just as politely decline because I don't like tea or crumpets, but I'd politely thank her for the offer, maybe suggest some food and drink I prefer... well, you get the idea. But if she's stuck in "KILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILL" Mode, the only thing I'll be doing is making a mad dash for the nearest available transport, make a pedal-to-the-medal dash for the airport, and then hop the first flight to the opposite hemisphere.

This episode really scared the crap out of me even though I enjoyed it. After it I kinda just laid in bed staring at the ceiling contemplating life.

They so need to make an action figure of this thing! It always struck me as a perversion of the objectification of women. Her head is where it should be, but attached to her shoulder, as though it was a mere afterthought. Her left arm is huge and bulky, and her right is too thin and fused with her Scissor Blade. The most normal-looking part of her body is her torso, and it is green and covered in blood.
(I nickname this monstrous fusion Ryūketsu (流血). In an interesting bit of serendipity, 流子 (Ryūko) and 鮮血 (Senketsu) mean 'bloodshed' in Japanese 流血 (Ryūketsu).)

What's really interesting about the design is that you can definitely tell it's Ryuko but at the same time everything about it is wrong.
And yeah you have no idea how fast I would buy a figure of her!

Seeing this was a kick in the gut for me when I watched that episode. You know something's good when it causes you dread for a character. To see how far she'd fallen... It was something else. You captured Berserker Ryuko quite well.

My reaction was kinda 50/50 split between "oh shit oh shit oh shit" and "OH MY GOD SHE LOOKS SO COOL"
Like, I'm glad everything worked out and Ryuko didn't die, but at the same time, part of me really wants to see it happen again just because of how twisted and awesome the design is. It's conflicting!
