I did the do!! I managed to do one of them big-scale lizards with fancy background stuff! I might still feel quite far away from these professional perfect-looking fantasy pieces, but I think it's safe to say I've gotten a couple steps closer,, at least compared to my last try at a big-scale lizard
but also, damn! This was a great commission premise too!

i feel extremely inferior looking at you art, but in the constructive way. amazing as always. id say youve earned the title of professional, even if you havent quite hit that mark for yourself, because i could definitely see you landing a concept artist job with this kind of skill, easy. i guess the next step youve gotta strive for is "expert."

Ooh thank you very much!! Well my own milestone of becoming a "professional" would be to be hired professionally :0 And thus to at least have some pro-work in my resume,, but that's not so much a thing of artistic growth and more in the direction of being noticed by the right people

This is really cool! Love the atmosphere and color palette! The composition is really good, and the lighting and details are amazing. That background is stellar, and the textures are used well in the dragon and on the rocks/mountains. Great job!

I had a phase earlier this year, where I watched tons of podcasts and videos of concept artists talking about how to get a job in that field :'I so yeah, I'm definitely considering it.
But right now I'm keeping myself flexible. I don't know yet what would fit me the best in a professional environment, so I try to juggle between illustration, animation and concept art
