Description Aaaaalright so.
The top part is somewhat a compilation of stuff I've learned from other (more detailed) wing tutorials
Feathered wings are usually divided in different sections, and there are lots of different bird wing types, right? but dont forget that those different forms can be applied to dragon wings too!!
theantimonyelement.deviantart.… <- this is quite a detailed tutorial on bird wings, you dont have to read it all through, but even just looking over some of the illustrations can help you understand wings a bit better

I guess my tutorial is more focused on getting the form right, like the basic rough sketch for drawing wings.

And now to the bottom part, knowing other species' anatomy is very helpful for creating fantasy creatures. Like, a fully grown dragon has to have some massive shoulder muscles to be able to soar through the sky, no? Even if it's just improvised and patched up anatomy, it can still look nice.
reference n.1 is from this here notexactlylegal.tumblr.com/pos…
reference n.2 is aaall from a book from Gottfried Bammes on human anatomy

Just knowing vaguely where muscle-bulges are located, can make your wings look a lot more solid, and do not underestimate the importance of shoulder/back muscles. You often risk making the wings look detached from the main body, to avoid that, you can copy the way a normal arm is attached to a human shoulder. and tadaa there you have additional limbs

Here's some more good stuff kakimari.deviantart.com/art/an…
kakimari.deviantart.com/art/an… it shows some good anatomy on the mechanics of arms and other body parts
