I am very damn anxious about learning to drive, cause I'm the kind of person who hates to be bad at something (even if it's expected of you to be bad at it) and gets nervous in situations where my hesitance or slowness will be bothersome for other people (i get my wallet out before its my turn in a queue to be ready to pay without wasting anyones time, for example)
And I'm especially uncomfortable in new/unfamiliar situations
Like, I already have stress dreams about missing the bus / taking the wrong bus / missing my stop :I

I'm basically just ranting here, and it'll in all reality be totally fine as soon as I've grown more used to it, and I'll probably even be happy to have some regular rhythm back into my life with these lessons,, but I'm still very anxious about the idea of -me- sitting behind a steering wheel <:I
it doesnt help that most people have their first accidents right after getting the license

Also I completely understand about your feelings. Those were my exact feelings when I tried learning to drive. I tried it through a school the first time but the instructor was too intimidating for me, so I dropped out maybe...7 years ago? My mother helped me learn last year and I read through the guide book and took the tests, and passed the written and driving. Once you pass, you'll be relieved.

Good luck with the driving. I got my license a few years now but I still remember how horrified I was in the beginning. I had a hard time learning it but somewhen it just clicked and I managed it. I'm not the best driver around but I get from A to B. It'll be alright for sure :3

Thanks q-q man, if it weren't much more convenient to be able to drive where-ever / whenever you want, to do things like "take on a real job" or "get an internship", so that you can "apply for dem A+ universities",, I'd simply skip that whole thing and take public transportations the rest of my life
