I tried to make it easy to understand OTL
-has no idea how well that work out
But yes, I'll do just normal pixel one next time since I do those a bit differently.
As for how to make them move
I tried to show that but I decided just to show you all the tutorial that I used to learn LOL

Usually I use a larger canvas and shrink it down afterward, but things get much blurrier that way.
I guess it's best to use that 50x50 default!

I think you can follow the same basics that I do with sai but just use the pencil tool instead of the binary tool.
I think that pencil does the same thing but I can look it up for you love <3
