Newer versions of Photoshop have the animation toolbar installed in it instead

Hello ^.^ I have a little problem. You see, the icon I'm using right now has some white pixels outside the kitten and when the heart fades out. I've checked multiple times on the timeline, then I optimized it, and during the preview, the white pixels are there. They aren't there when I look at it on the timeline. I play the loop, there's no white behind the heart or the kitten :c I needs help!

You mean the white flash?

Neko-brush In reply to Fiveonthe [2015-03-10 21:37:38 +0000 UTC]
Yeah :c I don't know how to get rid of it. There's also some white pixels around the bow of the cat

Fiveonthe In reply to Neko-brush [2015-03-15 03:02:15 +0000 UTC]
You can erase the white pixels around the bow of the cat!
This might have been because the brush you used was low opacity (at times) so you may not be able to see it on a transparent bg when you pixel!
What you should do is:
1) go to the original .psd file
2) make the background layer a dark colour (eg. dark maroon or something) so you can see the pixels
3) and then look for the layer the pixels are on and erase them
4) in the animation stage, play through it to see whether it still shows
The white flash is bound to happen because of the optimization settings! So you can't do much about that unless you make the file size larger (which probably won't fit in 15kb size!!)

Ah! After 4-5 hours of erasing and doing it again I've done it ! Tysm! Sorry this is so late too. I wanted to save the comment until I actually did the steps you told me to do. Thanks again! You're amaziiiiing!

Hi. I tried to save my pixel as my icon but it said that it should not be bigger than 15kb. Can you please help me with this? Thank you.

The animation may be too much! Usually that's the case Cut down the frames!

Okay ~ I know u can do blinking and bouncing together ~
But . . . how do u do it at same time ~ ?
Mines ends up as an awkward bouncing motion like the one shown in my icon [on the left] ~

It's very helpful, but when I save it that way it weights 18 kb and dA doesn't let me use it; how can I bring the resolution down?
π: 0 β©: 1
Fiveonthe In reply to MyPresenceEuphoria [2014-01-04 22:54:14 +0000 UTC]
Hmm, I used to have problems with this...
You can try:
1) Changing the animation so it's less complex (take out a couple of frames)
2) Use less colour when pixeling (like 8 or 16 etc) and then you can render at a lower rate (instead of GIF 128, you can try 64 or 32 etc.)
