Description
April 2006big file! O____O
eeee! this took longer to make than actually inking and colouring the drawing I used in the tutorial! O___O
I apologize for my freaky canadian spellings, any weird grammer problems (english/communications wasn't my major), and it's squished-ness at the bottom.
Any questions, comments, suggestions, or new tutorial ideas - feel free to tell me!

great tutorial
I was using G pen for about a year
then got lazy and bought tech. pen.
I hate the smudges and bleeding using G pen.
but now Im wondring...
should I go back to G pen;;;
May be I'll use tech. pen on regular paper(since it doesnt bleed) and use G pen on non-bleeding paper;;;

Thanks a ton for this! I've been inking in Photoshop, but it drives me absolutely nuts because A. I can't rotate the pic to suit drawing curves and B. It takes for-freaking-ever.
There's a bunch of good tips in here that helped me out. Thanks.

Your local arts and crafts store / art supply store I love art stores <3 so much stufff.
Um.. chyea they aren't too difficult to find, and they run from.. like as far as I've seen $1-$3.50 a pen... but like, no need for the best in my oppinion if you just wanna play around with it.. I'm just getting into inking myself :3

^^ I guess i have to figure out wheres nearest art supply store. lol. I found some bad alternatives to super cool awesome ink pens (in local book shop xD). But that stupid 005 pen after few hard drawings just is not usable anymore T_T *runs to art supply shop*

OMG, thanks sooo much.
I've been having trouble inking and it looked pretty bad.
When I read this I tried out the feathering technique and it made my inking look LOTS better.
Thank you so very much

I wanted to learn how to ink and this is a wonderful tutorial I want to print it out so I could have it on my drawing table with me but I can only print the first part down to the light box information. The printer just shows blank pages after that. Is there a way to print out your wonderful tutorial?

and it takes me a month to get back to you - I apologize (I was internetless for a period of time). I'll look into getting you a printable verison of my tutorial, if you are still interested. ;
With that being said, thank you for the sweet comments - and keep up the good work yourself! I quite enjoy your bird paintings! ^__^

I bought my micron pens at my local art store (they go for about $3 - $5 canadian each) - usually I've seen them being sold at stationary/office supply stores as well.
