Wow! The tone of my adventure sure has changed! Nothing silly has happened in two panels. What is going on here?

And a double-panel day?? I never get a double panel day! I guess thank you Vex and Ren! Vex come pick me up you silly alien! Or at least come see my house! This place I only strangely half-remember!

I swear I am being setup. I know it! Where is the alien that says "it's a trap!" and then never really shows up again to do anything else? I need that guy right now to restate the obvious!
