Description
It is not often I do this, but a talented creator in our world of 3d has passed away. StudioArtVartanian, or SAV on Renderosity has left us.One of my characters, the Overlord from my Unit 1721 series, was crafted by her skilled hands.
And it is not often a character says goodbye to their creator, but all of our works will outlast us.

I know, I worked with 3d artists for years helping them get their products into stores. The back and forth, the monthly checks they need to pay the rent and put food on the table, dealing with software bugs that affect their products, hearing about good months for sales and bad, and then watching them work their magic with what they do. They are real people, super talented, and all of them are just like us - same lives, same problems, and all of them great and hardworking people.
It is sad since she was so talented, and a shock. But, her work will live on forever with all the things people create. It is one of the beautiful things about what we do as 3d artists.
