Description
Why won't this series end? Why did the files actually load on the new computer? Didn't you know everything was supposed to break, my work would be lost, and I would shake my head and throw my hands up and say, "Well, that was a fun run...!" On to new things...But no.
I am too good.
And we're not a "thing."

You can call them. Part of me regrets this series went here, but here goes...
I signed up for a dating site once upon a time. Yeah. No. What a nightmare. I got this feeling I was being scammed, and that everyone I interacted with was either a opportunist, or someone as desperate and lonely as the site made me feel. And time after time, the machine AI of the site would say people were interested in me that weren't, and I knew I was being played.
I like people to be themselves and not pretend interest in me. Or yes, with those deep rooted insecurity issues and they act interested but aren't really. Their interest in you is really just interest in themselves. But part of me knows Jess can have anyone she wants, she can just flip her power on and control anyone's mind. I can't imagine how lonely that would be.
Or maybe it is because she works at World Master Media and she is brainwashed by all the "imagination engineers" there to believing, that just like the company, she can have anything she wants the way she wants it.

I did the dating site thing too. It felt like an online auction. After 10 penis pics, I quit. I'll admit that I'm cynical about relationships, divorce does that. I heard alot of "Till death do us part" from my family. And it hurt, alot. Sometimes it still does. But hearts grow cold, things are said that can't be taken back, we see things we never thought we would and it splits our souls.
I think deep down, Jess is wondering if she can be loved for her. Her powers have led her to that trap. So, like so many others, she turns to god.

My mother divorced and we stayed and grew up with her; so yeah, I know it never really gets better. The tears can come 30 years later like it was yesterday. And she got looked down on by her family. So yeah, sadly not unfamiliar with all that. Here is a hug from me. Every better day you have to fight hard for.
Sadly I don't think Jess can escape her fate, given the man she works for and what is about to happen in the Mastermind's Call series reboot. Given who she works for, I wouldn't dismiss the fact she is being used by him either, which would be even more tragic.
Maybe she read that in my mind. Perhaps she knows. Even though she shouldn't know that when the series comes around, it is going to be tougher writing it now.

Has she ever thought of becoming a PI?

We shall see. Post MM Call she is free, that part has not been written yet. She must go through what has came before to get there.
