Good work, I like the lighting effect of the visor. It's probably unrealistic in that you'd normally want to illuminate the stuff around you rather than yourself, but it ensures that her facial expression (her eyes at least) are visible to us, which is of course very important for visual storytelling.

It is a tough effect in Poser or Studio, and easier in Vue because I have better control of my lights. I tend to make artistic lighting choices similar to filmmakers rather than strict realism. This is one of those 'Hollywood' visor lighting effects the actors in these types of movies complain about because they have lights in their visors showing their face and they have a hard time seeing outside the mask. If you can imagine having lights that close to your eyes you probably can imagine how hard it is. You are right, this is really done for the visual storytelling effect rather than realism, because otherwise it would be very hard to connect with her with a blacked out mask. For more fun on this:

I also chose Eli for her eyes over figures I have better support for, just for those wonderful and expressive eyes. Thanks again.

Thanks, it is different going from occasional one-offs to a weekly release schedule. I have a good inventory for the four weekly strips on Patreon I run, this being one of them, and I am finding that balance of how much I can do versus a release rate. I used to do 10-20 panels in a week and release them all at once, then wait a couple weeks (or months), and repeat. It was a bad habit. This is much better planned and measured I feel, and more sustainable. As a reader, I care about a predictable, consistent schedule of releases a lot, so that is what I am shooting for. And yeah, I am finally getting serious and supporting and finishing all my strips, and telling new stories. It feels good.

More with Eli every Saturday, both here (last week's strip) and Patreon (current strip).
