Last week's installment of Survivor lands today, and over on Patreon this week's panel is up. I love her look here, just alone and scared and shocked - good stuff. One of the things we fight against in 3d are those flat, dead eyes and expressionless faces. When you can get a look out off a character like this, and here only just the eyes, it is a great thing. With other artists, they have to push their materials and mediums to get these effects. With 3d artists, I feel we have to push back against bland, generic, and often lifeless content and lighting to reach special moments like this. The skills and techniques from traditional art are the same, but the direction we go in is 100% the other way.
