Description
Col Smith's mind control broke after command swooped in and cut the call. He was crying, apologizing, and saying he didn't know a thing. I can't blame him. I feel bad. This is war though. Things happen. They took Dr. Chase away to an undisclosed location. I didn't get to say goodbye. At least she's safe.
Me? I walked out. It was dark and my powers were drained along with my emotions, so I just left. I know all up and down the chain of command they will be screaming for me to return, but I know this is ultimately Smith's call, and I thank him for that. I'm too dangerous to let run free, and I'm too dangerous to control.
Sparrow is still MIA. Without Chase there's no more of us. As far as I am concerned, ACTION Force is over.
And there's a madman out there trying to take over the world.

It's a GREAT Shot! Would you believe it actually looks like a like a photograph?

Thanks again, yeah, I love the photo-realism here. The sky does a lot, plus the star/lens flare effects on the headlights.

Thanks, yeah, I am feeling Alva realizes the people they are facing can turn her team and friends against her - so to protect them, she heads off on her own. It is a very selfless act and it makes me feel for her. She is probably right, to take the Mastermind and Jess on, she needs to work alone.
Even Colonel Smith knows that, and it's why he let her go. The best way she can protect herself is by being in places nobody knows her.
There is a danger there too, and she needs friends to help. All of the ladies are still powerless at night. This is why it is fun to juxtapose this image against Sparrow's with the same sort of pose, they need each other, but they are worlds apart.
There's a fun Easter Egg in this one, she's hitchhiking, so she's going somewhere. Her left hand though is a clenched fist, so you know she's angry. The hands tell the story here.
She's hunting.

NOTE: This was image #18 in the sequence, but it paralleled with Sparrow's #15 image so well with number fifteen I bumped it earlier. Alva is going rogue and is emotionally hurt. Sparrow is lost and on her own. Both of them are looking off in the distance at a symbolic light, powerless, in the dark, and alone. It is a fun way to end their runs in this chapter of the story on a similar note.
They will be back.
