Wow that is one beautiful piece of work there. And the detail is incredible.

Very well done and very accurate, for the most part. Amazing work. Maybe add an exploded view of the receiver with the internal rails and selector plate stop / trigger guard separated. If you wanted to go really crazy you could add arsenal variations, or features that changed over time.

I'm sorry did you draw a wooden Magazine I'm not sure about the 74 but AK-47 as any other gun as far as I know has a metal magazine.

It’s a cheap plastics like Metal, not wood.
Also, It’s not 1 set type.
They have both metals and synthetic plastics for either the 47 and 74

It's not bakelite, it's plastic.

Bakelite is a plastic. It is the first thermoset plastic. Read up on the history of Russian bakelite ak mags.

Amazing. Such a simple and effective gun. Shame its Russian. Although it's one of the easiest platforms to disassemble.

Isn't it an AK 47 instead? Amazing job otherwise!!! ♥

Agreed. It is AK-47 , automatic Kalashnikov model 47, born from the SKS rifle (back when bayonets were actually used in combat).

No, it is in fact a AK-74. Looking at the stock it is more straight than a stock from a AK-47
The magazine is also less curved, unlike the iconic banana clip/magazine from an AK-47.
