Okay I know how much work it takes to do this sort of detail...my stuff is not 1/10th this detailed and it takes a lot of work.....my eyes bleed just thinking about a project this detailed.

And, BTW, my dear, departed dad fired an M2 out the side of a bomber in WWII. He was sparky other times, but said that there are only 3 jobs on a bombing run: bombardier, gunners and repairmen.

Love the work, love the subject. If may ask, what software do you recommend to start doing 3D machine renders?

Thank's. Its 3D max for modelling, Maya for mapping, Photoshop for texturing & VRay for rendering. I recommend to start from modelling in 3d max. I like the way it works. Fast & efficient, has many different tools & pretty high precision

Thanks for the tips. I CC'd em to notes and will look it up and get going. Love your eye for detail. (And dad said his B24 Liberator had spare barrels, asbestos mittens to change them, and ear muffs, too. Ma Deuce was apparently one hot lady. It would be way cool to see those accessories in a museum someday. I did get to climb through a working B24 at an air show once. The bomb bays were open and the catwalk was narrow.)

Yea, I like them too. I think that huge Ks-172 missile will fit MiG-31 better
