Presenting the Midway verse U.S.S. Vengeance! In 2260, Starfleet discovered the existence of Section 31’s colossal flagship when a fleet of Romulan vessels attacked the U.S.S. Enterprise with plans to start a war between the Klingon Empire and the Federation by framing the Enterprise’s destruction on the Klingons. Thirteen hours after the initial shots, two D7 Battlecruisers approaching Starbase 19 for shore leave found the Enterprise limping into the system on impulse, six light years away from the battle. After being assisted to the base by the two cruisers, the Enterprise crew was debriefed. Despite taking out three Romulan Cruisers in the first twenty minutes, the Enterprise had been losing badly when another ship had entered the fray. A gleaming black hull had reflected and refracted all sensor scans as the goliath starship opened fire upon the attack force. Over 60 dual phaser turrets reigned fire upon the enemy from the saucer alone as two massive missile batteries the diameter of the Enterprise’s deflector hailed torpedos. In less than five minutes the formerly thirty strong romulan fleet was naught but debris. The backwash of energy generated by the barrage had allowed the Enterprise’s sensors to get a clearer view as the unknown dreadnought maneuvered to shield the battered Starfleet flagship with her hull. 753 meters in length with armor over a meter thick lining the hull. A pincer shaper cutout in the saucer container numerous hanger and cargo bays, and the deflector was protected by massive sliding armored doors which opened once the fleet had been destroyed. The U.S.S. Enterprise had then been hailed by the U.S.S. Vengeance, under the command of Admiral Alexander Marcus. The Admiral directed the Enterprise to dock between the pylons of the massive starship. Tractor beams guided the damaged constitution class into positution. Previously unseen clamps latched onto the Enterprise’s hull and docking ports connected to the saucer and secondary hull. As the Enterprise’s wounded were transferred to the Vengeances infirmity, drones from the Vengeance completed several structural repairs to the Enterprise to allow her to survive a warp jump. Once sufficient repairs were completed, the Vengeance jumped to warp, despite her speed being limited due to the Starship between her nacelles the Vengeance was able to deliver the Enterprise within impulse range of Starbase 19 in less than 12 standard hours.
