Description Due to a rather long morning and waiting for a dentist appointment, I got to hammer these out in my sketch book. Basically more of the characters featured in the multidimensional sea of redunkulessness that is me and Kaijulord's colab project.

Zoloz: An organization obsessed, obessesive/compulsive, animated adamantium golem that puts the 'law' in lawful neutral. Effecient, systematic, and potentially brutal as hell. This thing is serious business 24/7.

Twilight: A guest star in the challenge. This is what happens when Theropoda invades Equestria, turns ponies into humans in retribution for cartoon world related polymorphing, and then sells them on the slave market. You get a girl with magical powers fighting for her freedom and using strangely equine terminology for various things.

Teresia: MTG White magic personified. A badass archangel that helps the weak, smites the diabolical, and looks good doing it. Can be too dogmatic and idealistic for her own good.

Carlofe: The subtle irony of placing this character below Twilight is not lost on me. Carlofe is MTG Black Magic personified. He's an amoral, pragmatic, extremely ambitous, and ruthless vampire that can be rather classy and refined when he needs to. TT's various takes on this particular creature of the night have bled into him a bit so he's got a bit of 'quirk' to him. He's more sinister in a 'what is he plotting' sense than a 'oh god what is that thing?!' sense. At least when he's not nomming on something. That talisman on around his neck there is a sun protection artifact. While he's wearing it his only true remaining weaknesses are naturally running water and divine energies.

Heheh, Twilight Sparkle. She seems to be rocking the big, uh, flank look if you catch my drift.

Carlofe captures my imagination the most out of this batch for reasons that should be fairly obvious. I can't imagine how awesome a vampire written by you would be. Probably impossibly awesome.

I won't lie, I was inspired by this

Oh I'm already having great fun with Carlofe. He's an opportunist and a half that one.

Sir Mix-A-Lot approves.

Most excellent concerning Carlofe! I maintain that Vampires still have some life in them when it comes to character potential.

Pretty cool, what is "100 Level Challenge"? I have to say that my favorite by far is Zoloz, he seems kind of like the unholy love-child of the Terminator and Robocop. And the extreme lawful part is just icing on the cake.

RenDragonClaw In reply to Damn-Yuki [2011-07-19 22:27:48 +0000 UTC]

It's a a literal 100 challenges that gradually escalate in difficulty. Ultimately there is only one winner and it takes themes, characters, and alternate interpretations from everywhere. Pretty much all of these mentioned here are OC's made to add some diversity to the event. If it ever pops up on DA it will be largely for the Villains Guild.

Sounds like a pretty sweet concept. Let me guess. Is its theme song "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny"?

Oh that happened already, the 100 level challenge is toward the end after nearly 80 percent of the multiverse has had it's teeth kicked in.

Another odd group of characters.

Zoloz is an interesting concept, kinda reminds me of Hal, trying to keep everything going smoothly and when that fails it's time for more direct methods.

Teresia is another neat character. It's good to see WM get some sort of nods for all the crap she had to put up with. Since you already stated her character and knowing WM from the comic, it's easy to see that Teresia will be s fun gal to mess with.

Carlofe is just win. Sounds like a spastic version of Dracula who is just plain insane. I really can't say how funny I find this guy.

Hal is approximately what Zoloz is, with body of a terminator Robocop lol.

Oh good god...didn't think of it that way, but the body of a terminator with the iron will and craziness of Hal is freaking frightening!

I must say I like Zoloz, his look reminds me of Ultraman mixed with... something, perhaps Robocop.

And his functions seems like that of a more brutal Robocop perhaps.

RenDragonClaw In reply to StarGamerWorld [2011-07-19 21:57:18 +0000 UTC]

A terminator refashioned into a Robocop more like it lol. He's a lot like an inevitable, which from the monster manuals is basically an outsider that champions the force of law itself much like angels champion lawful good and demons champion chaotic evil.

In other words, if you're a square trying to fit into a circular hole, he'll take you out and put you in a square hole. Failing that he'll make one and smash you into it until you fit.

So all this is for a collab project between you and Kaijulord? I might say that I'm rather interested to see what you two have in mind lol

Perhaps we should clean up the timeline a wee bit and post that, so people would at least get what in the sam hell is going on in this insanity.

Yeah, I also cleared up the Digiverse segmant up a bit:

The Digiverse: Where it all begins...
A being known as Salaruis is born which in itself causes ripples in the multiverse. However, despite being prophecized to fall, Salaruis and his organization Theropoda conquer all of the digiverse, in a bid to rid all human presence from it, which was the time such occurrence had EVER happened. The Universe, suddenly lacking conflicting duality starts to destroy itself, Salaruis and Theropoda go where no evil doer has gone before and escapes their dimension leaving an entire Multiverse for the taking.
Notable Events:
-Salaruis and Theropoda start their Multiversal crusade
-The Digimon who joined with Theropoda survive extinction.
-Very few humans survive this leaving only the enigmatic β€œK” as a Double Agent for Theropoda, Ruki Makino as Salaruis’s ward, and a few other former Digidestined as slaves.

Yeah, I think I need to get cracking on this one, however KAS...Untold Story... damn so much on my plate... O.O

Also I added a few more details to Hell:
Hell: Salaruis is summoned to Hell, and has an audience with Lucifer, the Devil is revealed to be powerless god imprisoned in his own castle,so to speak, only being able to influence the multiverse, but not cause earth shattering acts of β€œgod”. Lucifer explains β€œDamnation” and that for every soul Salaruis sends to hell, Salaruis can pull a soul from it temporarily, to use as a soldier. However Lucifer gives Salaruis three souls to bring back permanently, Salaruis ignores his β€œwishes” for now and leaves. Hell is also only supposed to punish souls, not damn them and then send them to Purgatory for Rehabilitation, this is not happening anymore since Purgatory was destroyed by Heaven meaning that even if you repent, you shall remain in Hell, meaning that there are tons of pissed off souls in hell. Satan also reveals the every universe ends in cycles, meaning when the cycle is up (such as shortly after the protagonist beats the big bad, etc.) it ends taking everything with it, before starting again, creating a groundhog day loop. Salaruis’s mere existence averted the Digiverse’s fate to that, and when it destroyed itself, alone surviving was enough to end the ground hog day loop of not only the digital world but various others, however if Salaruis’s new universe is to survive, he needs data, tons of it, to be pumped into it, and the data absorbed from other universes can not only end that universe for good, but also give the new Digiverse (now dubbed the Theropodaverse) that much more life away from the so called β€œDeletion Tide”. Salaruis leaves Hell, with a whole new gameplan in mind. Lucifer grins as his Xanatos Gambit now begins.

Also, you think Hell is bad? Heaven, is arguably worse...

You see the "pure souls" get sent to heaven, however they are greeted with such euphoric bliss, they lose free thought and individuality amongst trillions of other souls who coalesce into power and thus...Angels are born from thousands of merging souls. The mind and whats left of the soul get seeded into their universe of origin where they will reincarnate and do the process again, creating more angels.
So in short: You go to heaven, and your soul is turned into energy. No reuniting with your ancestors, no paling around with Jesus/Budha/Mohammad/THE FSM Nothing. And then all your life efforts are for not due to power of "Destiny" meaning that every action you do is apart of a Ancient, Multiversal Xanatos Gambit. You think you do things of your own free will, but guess what? WRONG.
With Hell your damned for all eternity, but at least you know your inviduality, and if you make deals and become a Demon you can get your ass out of it.
Angels are typically emotionless drones working for God himself, Satan was an angel whose emotions (I.E. Sin) got the better of him and he was sent to Hell. He deserved his dickery at first, but Trillions of loops later...yeah anyone would be driven insane. Here is where his Xanatos Gambit comes into play: You see the Apocalypse has happened before, the Multiverse itself loops starting with Creation and then ending with the Apocalypse, rinse, repeat. Satan has been on the losing side for a good million or so of the Multiverse loops, and he remembers ALL OF IT. Prophecy dictates that he must be "Cast into the Pit of Fire" along with however the False-Prophet and Anti-Christ are. However all things in the Multiverse are bound by Destiny, so what Lucifer needs is someone who isn't effected by bound destiny to put his plan into motion.

Enter Salaruis who was born from an incredibly rare dimensional anomaly which occurs more frequently in the Digital World due to it's interesting nature. However God's prophecy to destroy Salaruis...fails due to a little loop hole, and in comes Chekhov's Gun prophecy, The "Deus Ex Infernum" prophecy from the Commandramon's faith "The True god shall rise from Hell, and drag the false one to the abyss." Salaruis even though he was supposed to die during his final battle with Tamers is saved by Omniscience/Omnipresence (ANON) via Haxx, since Anon is fed up with all the Lawful Stupid bullshit, Heaven's General Faggotry, and the fact they want some sweet lulz. (ANON is "insane" due to that it is all knowing and all present, seriously anyone would be) So Satan, after the Digiverse's destruction puts his plan into motion... the carrying out of said plan occurs in another note I sent you *The Heaven Campaign*

Satan is still an Evil Prick, but God is an asshole here, lol. Thoughts?

That makes an awesome amount of sense. Considering Theropoda and Vaudeville are aware that they exist in a 'fictional multiverse', their actions speak of an organization that knows this truth and starts playing against it's rules. Being that God in fiction tends to come off as either ridiculessly saccharine or a hypocritical zeus expy, it makes for an interesting setting.

Hm, one of the things I'm trying to do is make "God" not fall into any of those categories, I'm aiming for a Knight Templar who believes it/he is doing the multiverse a favor by keeping it "orderly" and that Salaruis is like the "Cancer" destroying the Multiverse. "God" abandoned all concepts of Morality going for the what he/it deems as the quickest and most efficient way to make ends meet, at the cost of the Multiverses residents sure, but it keeps the status-quo going, and besides like any old Eldritch Abomination God has no time for "mortal" affairs outside of the Universe of Creation (I.E. an anagram universe featuring various different religious canons as different Universes, it is usually the first universe to be created and the last to die during the "Apocalypse")Salaruis and "Deus" do their final battle here, srs bsns happens.
That's my thoughts on the matter, anyway.
Also quick question, will you be sketches of the other contestants?

RenDragonClaw In reply to SirKaijuOfVaudeville [2011-07-20 09:06:33 +0000 UTC]

Probably, depends on how bored I am and whether I get dragged into a moment I need my sketchbook again. Marian has been featured in Level 32. She's a descendent of the Invisible Man, that sloves our 'what the heck is she good for' question. Now I'm on Level 33 which is more your territory. I was going to take this opportunity to have Sanae finally go totally bat-shit Shion style. I'll get around to it laters though.

I would offer to write it, but I don't know much of the Gensokyo girls. I know the basics of what TV Tropes can give me and what little of the Itunes Game version I have played. However we can probably Coopt it, you send me your draft and I'll add in the more...Insane tidbits.
And actually Shion going Batshit isn't nearly as bad as everyone's favorite guy fawkes head vaude initially snapping. (Hint: He kills more Digidestined that most of Theropoda..Keramon takes out their partners)His insanity and path of mayhem leads to TK/Takeru....anhero'ing himself.

Also, note me what you have so I can copypasta it into here.

Well, I wouldn't expect you to considering I got a rhime and rhythm to planning the eventually failings/possible deaths of the other contestants.

My philosophy to learning about new series is to hit google and check for a wiki, find it, then search the character and walah, instant knowledge just add brains. That's how I learned about Touhou despite never playing the games. I also dug into some fanfiction since a lot of Touhou culture is fanon.

For this next level, I'm basically going to have Sanae finally suffer an envy implosion and try to take out Reimu. The catalyst for this is her coming across two Great Old one's having debate: Yig (god of serpents) and Tsathoggua (frog like buddha and DBZA Kami Guru on crack). The two god's that made up Sanae's family at the Moriya shrine were a snake and frog goddess so she has connections to these types of creatures anyway. Seeing a chance for entertainment, the two great old ones with cults in decline decide to use Sanae as a tie breaker. If she defeats most of the other contestants during the level, Tsathoggua gets a new pawn. If she fails the level herself Yig (the pessimist) gets her to help revive his flagging cult. Despite not really wanting any part of this initially, Tsathoggua and Yig both play on her jealousy and manipulate the natural paranoia of the area to make Sanae finally vent her issues via a fit of ax-crazy. Tsathoggua imbues her with eldritch knowledge and Yig sends snakes to drive the other contestants away from Sanae. Thus the bet begins. Mr. Skin senses this shit going and chuckles, wanting to see how this turns out.

Because The Great Old One's influence goes beyond Nyarlathotep naturally. Don't worry I got this.

Noting...

Hm, I was actually thinking of doing so in regards to Touhou.

And Speaking of which, this next challenge sounds positively fucking insane, although you know what these challenges need? Sports Commentators. Like having an aside between the Vaudes or some others discussing the challenges, highlighting notable events, and going into depth about the contestants. With the witty snide remarks thrown in.

Also, I think Mr. Skin and Zeran will the only ones to come out of this challenge otherwise unscathed, since Zeran's constant exposure to Mr. Skin has to amount to something.
"Embrace your Paranoia! It shall show you the path."

Also I take it Sanae gets ousted this challenge?
