Description
Possible head designs for the hybrid version.The Sphere: Freakiest of the bunch but also the most functional.
Plates: The eariler hybrid with plates instead of ridges.
Huge Mouth: The ridges laden hybrid with a huge mouth that goes past where its eye would be. Kinda like Orga in a fashion. Suggested by TyrantisTerror.
The Screw It I Give Up Approach: The mouth stays open, added plates and fangs.

It's a strange mix that sphere head. I think its too alien to stick on him though. I imagine mullusk's and shell fish whenever I see that thing.

He's a hard monster redesign, perhaps even harder than SpaceGodzilla. There are so many things that make him what is and some of those same things also screw him up.

I can understand that dilenma. Hell, look how long it has taken me to do Monsturra.

They all have their charm, but I still think that the perpetually gaping maw is something he needs.
The "Screw it, I give up" could work if it were refined a little more. Instead of trying to make it look like a jaw, try to imply a leech or a lamprey structure. Lots of animals are jawless, afterall.
All the fangs curving inward, maybe even closing it to some extent might work.
