Finally worked myself out of an artist's block. This piece here is a birthday gift for my best bud, . I'm releasing this a few hours early because my little brother's birthday happens to be on the same day as his, and I'd like to spend some time with family and therefor won't be able to hang out with my friend for the day on Xbox LIVE or Minecraft. Anyways, Happy Birthday, ya nut.

The theme here is a soldier walking into some light with the other side holding the unknown. Undaunted, the soldier carries through with his decision and ventures forth, being engulfed in the light in the process. What's on the other side? Only those willing to take that step forward will find out.

This was challenging because I tried working with interesting lighting effects. Since I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements, which is a program designed to edit and touch-up photos, not for drawing, I had to make do with the limited tools I had at my disposal to draw something up as with all my other works. I think I made a few errors, but whatever.
