Hey guys, its me, Renleixue, and WHOA two uploads in one day, WTF, at this rate, I'll be done with the entire story before I even get a chance to come up with an idea for the ending. XD Anyways, let us see the start to our hero's journey, with Chapter One!!!

"The Flora Valley Factory was abandoned only recently, due to the anti-pollution law Daisy set up for her kingdom. What was once this land's finest steel foundry has been reduced to nothing more than a tourists' attraction." Trus T. recited from his encyclopedic memory, as he and Mario calmly strolled through the flower-filled hillsides of Flora Valley. "They say the factory smokestacks used to release more smoke than a b-" Trus T's voice was overpowered by a sudden, ground-shaking earthquake.

"W-whHAwHAaaAAat's GggOGoinNnG oOOoONonnNn?!?!?" Trus T's voice shook, and Mario looked ahead to the old factory, seeing tufts of smoke peer through the smokestacks, followed by the sporadic flickering of lights, and the sound of engines running. The sky grew gray with smog, and when the ground stopped shaking, everything within the factory was fully operational once more. The heroes' jaws dropped in unison.

As they approached the front gate, an electrical field was activated, sending them reeling back in fear of electrocution. Mario growled in frustration.

"Oh no, Mario, how are we going to get in, now? We need to hurry, I have a feeling whoever switched back on the lights has hold of the Warrior Star!!!" Mario looked around frantically, seeing a sewer drain entrance by the side wall of the facility. Without hesitation, the plumber dashed towards it, Trus T. trying to keep up behind him.

Sewage water flowed up to the team's ankles, the smell of garbage was everywhere. But still, Mario and Trus T. persevered onwards, finding a light at the end of a tunnel just up ahead.

"Oh, sweet relief!!! We're inside of the factory, Mario!!! Just a few more steps, then we can get revenge on whoever did this to us!"

They reached the end of the tunnel, and stepped out, into an overwhelming setting. Machines hummed, pistons pumped,lights flashed, gears turned, it seemed as though the entire factory was somehow alive. The duo made their way through the factory grounds (fighting koopas, goombas, thwomps, and whomps along the way) until they came across a room with a set of cages, lined up in a row. Inside of each were a bunch of skeletons, paired with cobwebs. It seemed to be the only lifeless corner in the entire factory.

"Its actually kind of depressing, these were slaves held to work here, they must have been left behind, and slowly starved to death. Doesn't look like there are any left." Trus T shrugged. "Well, let's go." The two turned around, but before they could begin walking away, they heard an echoing "ARF!!!" From the end of the room. They ran back, peering into the cell, and were greeted by a lone chain chomp, happily bouncing about within his cell. Mario scratched his head, confused.

"He must've been left here back when the factory closed down. Strange how he survived this long, but hey, I won't be questioning good things, now." Trus T inspected the cage lock, and the chain chomp stuck out its tongue and began panting. "Mario, hit it with your hammer, its so rusty, it wouldn't surprise me if the thing fell right off." Mario nodded, and swung his mallet down, onto the cell lock, causing it to break in half, but before he could open the door, the chain chomp pushed it open forcefully and jumped onto Mario, knocking him over, and began yapping playfully.

CHOMPER'S ABILITIES: A PRIMER.
PRESS X IN FRONT OF ANY CRACKED SURFACE TO THROW CHOMPER INTO IT AND BREAK IT.
HOLD X TO GRAB CHOMPER BY THE TAIL AND SWING HIM AROUND OVER YOUR HEAD, THEN RELEASE TO THROW.
IN BATTLE, HE CAN BITE INTO ENEMIES, OR SCARE THEM AWAY WITH HIS ROAR.

Chomper sniffed out the path to the Foreman's Office at the top floor of the factory, Mario and Trus T following closely behind.

Upon arrival, the foreman of the factory revealed himself as Nahs T., a dark toad with a suit and cane.

"So, you want my precious Warrior Star, eh? After all the trouble I've gone through to get my factory back up and running? With its power, I have no need for workers, my machines work 400% better than they ever have, before!" He snapped his fingers, as a giant, mechanical tank rolled out of a large, steel garage to the side of the office. "I'm sure you can guess that I won't be giving it up too easily, not without a fight!"

After the fight, the tank explodes, and sends Nahs T. flying out the window, off into the distance.

From the carnage, a glimmer of light appeared, and burst into the form of a blue stone star.

"The Warrior Star!!!" Trus T. fixed his glasses, amazed at the sight. Chomper bounced over to the star, picking it up in his mouth, and tossed it at Mario, with a happy, "ARF!!!"

The scene shifts to Princess Daisy, who, again, attempts to sneak away from her captives. She accidentally finds herself in Tatanga's private chambers, and looks through his desk, finding papers on a Warrior Star, located to the far west, in the old town of Gritty Gorge. She gets caught, and is sent back to her room, but not before transmitting the message through her broach.

The scene shifts again to Luigi, who is being visited by an old woman who requests the princess' approval to hold her grandson's birthday at the castle. (You get to walk around, talk to guests, and end up screwing things up.)
