Setting: Sarasaland - Bullet Bill No. 1 Train - Heading to Naskan Kingdom

Characters:
Gaijin Goombah (Gaijin): Our main protagonist and cultural hero to all. He has kept the ignorant Fumon Clan at bay with the help of his friends.

Akiterra Goombah (Aki): Wife to our hero Gaijin and a caffeinated lover of animals, including her pet cat Jade.

Yuki Goomba (Yuki): An old friend to Gaijin and Aki, she's in charge of the fan club for them and is generally a fumon butt-kicker.
Bobby Bob-bomb Boo: Another friend of the Goombah's friends, he's a rather timid bob-bomb boo being nervous around new people or places, but is a great defender of the ones he cares for.
James Porter: A very polite british gentleman, who helps co-operate the Gaijin Goombah Fan Club. He has a way with poker and the ladies ... though he isn't always successful at either all the time.
Don Cappotto: A shadowy, trench coat wearing, figure who is wanted for several thefts. He's considered the best in the "business" because of his powers to hide and possess shadows on a whim.

The story ... thus far:

As our plundering pirates continue their search south for more Crystals of Virtue, we return to Gaijin and the gang as they are all aboard the Bullet Bill Train No. 1 heading northward to the fridged plains and mountains of Sarasaland.

They settle in the coach car by the late evening and go grab some grub. Yuki and Aki begin to stuff their faces with bowls of Tempura Udon as Gaijin and Bobby eat a bit slower. Yuki looks up from stuffing her face and sees a shady looking character in a trench coat walking into the next car. With a sneaking suspicion and a twitch in her tail she knew something was up. However just as she was about to get up the lights flicker off and on really fast, the conductor reassures everyone that the Bullet Bill Train No. 1 is fine and secure and everyone goes about their business. Yuki, with a twitch still in her tail, isn't too sure the conductor is right so she goes off into the next car.

There she sneaks behind some of the shipping carts and listens in on the suspicious trench coat man. "Yeah I got it totally under control Daku, I'll get the crystal being transported on here for ya!", the Trench coat man said with a smirk. Yuki backs off slowly before being spotted by him and goes to warn Gaijin and the others of this predicament. A Crystal was being transported on the train?! Who even got their hands on one to begin with?

Suddenly a voice crept up from behind, "Why whom else could it have been?". The voice was deep, but polite. They turn around to find it was Mr. James Porter, one of the other heads of Gaijin's Fan Club.

James precedes to explain to them how he stumbled upon it while out for a walk one day and seeing it may have some value he packed it up and was shipping it up north to a museum. He didn't want to leave the Crystal alone however, knowing the Fumon have been out a lot more frequently as of late, so he carted himself along with it.

The gang feel relieved knowing that James is here accompanying the Crystal, but Yuki can't shake the awful feeling of that shady character in the trench coat still going to make a run for it. So Yuki asks if she and everyone else can have a look at it to make sure it's secure. James agrees and takes them to a back cart full of items being shipped and the Crystal is seen contained behind bullet proof glass, with laser security surrounding it. James boasted saying it'd take a master criminal to steal this. Suddenly the lights go out and flicker on rather quickly, and the shady trench coat figure picking open the glass box and swiping the Crystal.

The gang make hast and Yuki charges head first into battle with the trench coat man, who calls himself Don Cappotto. He is known as a master of stealing valuable goods for a good reason, being a creature of shadow he can easily manipulate shadows to his whim. The gang takes turn trying to slash away the Crystal from his clutches, but with little effect to him.

James pulls out his ace, literally, his magic playing card deck and binds Don Cappotto in the queens clutches. With Don stuck the gang take back the Crystal and tie up Don Cappotto delivering him to the authorities at the next train stop.

The train arriving at the Naskan Kingdom James is about to bid his friends farewell when Yuki says that the gang here can use a clever card player like you for this mission. And with that they have received a Crystal and a new companion on their caper!
