Description
This is my first shot with Arch Linux (love itI'm always using Openbox as WM and here I show how it can be configured to act as a pseudo tiling WM (details in the rc.xml file in the screenshot).

Upper Panel: Conky with my horizontal conkyrc [link]
Lower Panel: Tint2
Running Apps: URxvt, Mousepad, Thunar, Firefox, Xfce Power Manager, Volwheel, Wicd, XCompMgr

i use arch linux 3.4.4-2-ARCH 64 bit... and yeah it is a openbox configuration setup and also i use pytyle3 but its always buggy i'm trying to find another tiling system for openbox any idea man, and no arch is basicly tty console arch is not xorg-server but anyhow i don't use DM i use tty login and tty console u dont always need X anyhow just to clear that.. if you want to see my arch linux openbox system join me @ [link] cheers nice setup by the way

That truly looks awesome! Arch is probably THE best Linux distro. I'm using Ubuntu right now and itching to learn to use Arch. I'm just intimidated and don't really know where to start. Can you tell me what you did to set this all up? How much time did it take you?

Look and feel are more related to Openbox rather than to Arch itself, though: Arch is the way you want it!

i'm testing pekwm now and that's exactly what pekwm does (the tiling stuff). very nice setup
i think i'm gonna try arch some days....
