Description Poads(tm) come in lots of colors and patterns.I have hand painted hundreds of these things.

Poadsβ„’ are a guinea pig sized original character from my as yet unpublished graphic novel, "Reptangleβ„’". I originally sculpted this creature just to to use as a model to draw from, to keep the character consistent. .

These are irresistable! So they are a guinea pig/bird creature?
I LOVE guinea pigs!
And chance you will produce some of these as part of your "Paint your Own" section of your store?

They are sort-of based on guinea pigs and parrots, but they are fantasy creatures, so they many special qualities.
I've considered making pyo Poadsβ„’... Not sure what that would do to my trade mark protection, since they are a character... but it probably wouldn't matter!
"My Little Ponies" are characters, and they get customized all the time.

True, but little plastic ponies are not really the same as these cast statues. If you do add the Poads to the pyo section, I think it would be a great hit. I'd love to paint one myself.

One of these is being auctioned on ebay right now! This isn't our auction, it is someone re-selling a poadβ„’ from this edition: [link]

They are original characters from my forever-unpublished graphic novel, "Reptangle". They are benevolent, guinea pig sized creatures that have several interesting traits and functions.

Are poads related to tribbles at all? They seem to be multiplying rather quickly!

Poadsβ„’ lay eggs and hatch from eggs, but do not reproduce.

Are these airbrushed or brush-painted?

These are both brush painted, and airbrushed.

Is the "stained glass" type pattern the brush painted part? They are absolutely beautiful, BTW...

I'm trying to remember how I did these.
I airbrushed most of the colors on first, then hand brushed the black lacework over the metallic colors. I then hand painted contrasting spots of color on top of that.

You know, I think I've seen pictures of little green parrots in a similar gaggle like this... I find this pile of Poads really rather funny.
