i haven't drawn since i finished something for an artbook so here i am trying to get back into the swing of things laughs and cries (mostly cries)
i'm planning to get all my owed art (and respond to comments/notes) done by the end of december so i had to get back to drawing wheezes...
You must have the money on hand. After you claim I will note you my paypal, and if I do not receive payment within 24 hours of notification the adopt will be open again.
Trades allowed. Resells allowed for no more than the price you bought it for (commissioned art prices may also be added). Please credit the design to resake or resadoptables
Once you buy it, treat it as your own OC. Name, gender, etc etc. GIVE THEM A GOOD HOOOME.
Upon purchase you will receive the larger, transparent background, unwatermarked version of the adoptable.

You're welcome to not be a fan of it, but I'd suggest maybe not leaving these kinds of rude comments on deviations. It's a little unnecessary and I'm not quite sure what you'd achieve from it. Thank you!

Everything is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. There are old baseball cards, literal squares of cardboard that are worth millions now and there are people who gladly pay for it. $200 for this chibi may be more than what you're willing to pay, but for someone else it may not be if they want it that badly.

Sorry, I couldn't tell if this was some sort of set price, or maximum "buy now" bid option.
It just looks to me like, someone's squeezing money out of people who don't know any better. I'm sure someone will want it, but it's a ridiculous price. The art is good, but I've seen hundreds of chibis, just like it, for $20. $200 just makes my head spin.

resa is an incredibly well known artist who sells character designs that are very much sought over. that's what was bought here--a character design, not just a chibi.
all you have to do is go back into her previous submissions and you can see that this price is more than common place for any of her work.
it is hardly the work of a scam artist and despite not being resa myself, it offends me that you are basically implying an artist can't charge what her BUYERS have priced her work at.

I've just read this comment chain and realized he's caused the same kind of argument before (going on peoples adopts and claiming they're not worth the money) and had other kinds of dramas you can read about on artists beware. not worth your time.
