SPECIES INFO: [Species Guide: Kimonomimi]
SUBSPECIES INFO:
Kimonomini are the tiny cousin to Kimonomimi. They come into being when a Kimonomimi cuts a small part of their own (or another Kimonomimi's) red string of fate that makes up their hearts and sews it into a "blank" doll (most commonly a sarubobo ). The doll must be kept close to the Kimonomimi for three days, after which a Kimonomini comes into being. They are usually small enough to fit in the palm of one's hand, but some more powerful Kimonomini can change their size at will for varied lengths of times (though usually no more than a day). Other than their size, they differ in appearance form a normal Kimonomimi by their more obvious patterns and obi tails, which can be tied and untied to their liking. Their patterns are most often not static, and work more as unmoving plaid .
Their emotions affect them more strongly and their magic--which is usually less powerful than their cousins's--is heavily tied to them. Occasionally when overwhelmed with emotion, they may temporarily "poof" back into the doll they came from (they'll poof back given some time). They don't need to eat, but they like to, and some like it so much they've convinced themselves they need to. Due to their size, they're pretty codependent. Other than being used as companions, they are known to be extremely lucky (often referred to as "charms") and thus are highly prized by anyone who can have one.
Some Kimonomimi makes a business out of creating Kimonomini for those not of their species, which lessens their lifespans each time due to using up their thread. Because making them can be hazardous to those that can, they are not commonly seen (unless through the blackmarket, but these kimonomini are usually a little messed up due to the circumstances).
Please respond to the previous bidder to bid. It'll be easier for everyone to keep track.
Bid responsibly! Please only bid what you have and are willing to spend. While I understand sometimes retracting bids is necessary due to financial situations, if you need to retract your bid I need an explanation as to why either through comment or note. Retracting too many bids may land a person on a temporary blacklist.
You must have the money on hand. After winning I will note you my paypal, and if I do not receive payment within 24 hours of notification the adopt will be open again. Do not use the gift/money for friends option! You also do not need to pay the paypal fee.
Trades allowed. Resells allowed for no more than the price you bought it for (commissioned art prices may also be added).
Please credit the design to resake or resadoptables
Once you buy it, treat it as your own OC. Name, gender, etc etc. GIVE THEM A GOOD HOOOME.
Upon purchase you will receive the larger, transparent background, unwatermarked version of the adoptable.
To prevent sniping, I will extend the auction by 1 hour after the latest bid until there are no more.
AUCTION ENDS MAY 15th, 6PM (PST)
