Description Fan art of three of my favorite DC comics characters. Drawn and painted entirely by my fingers in Brushes, and, yes, they are numb and tired. (I'm in the market for a new stylus). Raven from Teen Titans, Brainiac 5 from Legion of Superheroes, and Velma from Scooby-Doo. The figures in the background also reference certain villains, but they all transformed as I painted them.

This is the first time I've ever done a drawing like this, so any helpful tips/advice/comments are very much appreciated.... I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

This is also my second drawing with a legit background on my tablet. Straight lines are very hard to finger paint on that thing.

The bookcases are illogical, I am very sorry for Velma's massive hair, and everyone looks too bright... sorta kinda. On the bright side, Brainiac 5 no longer looks like a glow stick! Honestly, I never realized that light green skin and pale blond hair could ever be so terrifying!

My composition skills seriously have room for improvement, but it was fun.

Good to see the Diminutive Supersleuth take her place among D.C.'s heroes.

I never actually knew that Scooby Doo was a comic series, much less that it was by DC.

Actually, it's not a comic series. Scooby Doo is just a cartoon by Warner Bros, they only had one crossover with DC that I know of because Warner Bros makes most of DC's animated shows and movies.

Thank you very much!Ā  Raven and Brainy are probably my two favorite DC characters.Ā  I really enjoy their personalities.

Welcome, your artwork is very nice~ And yes, I just absolutely love everything about their characters, they're really interesting.

Raven's personality in the show is great.Ā  In Teen Titans Go!, there's one scene where they meet AU titans, and they're all evil; Raven is the secret leader.Ā  I think Raven is also the leader in Ame-Comi Girls.

Brainy really stands out in LoSh since he's so unique compared to the rest of the cast.

I've never watched a full episode of teen titans go!, but I've watched every original teen titans and I love her interactions with the others and the internal conflicts. Wait raven is bad in that one? O.o

Brainy is so adorable, and interesting, and definitely unique in LoSH I'm sad that they didn't continue the show after the second season.

The Teen Titans Go! with the evil titans is in the comics.Ā  I dunno about show.Ā  I think it's only one issue that they appear because the titans travel to an AU.Ā  I really like her interactions, too.Ā  It's really fun to see how she develops and makes friends with the other characters.

I loved the show!Ā  It had good character designs, and their uniforms all had a sense of unity.Ā  Brainy's character development was really excellent.Ā  There was a third season planned, and it was supposed to take place three years later, have Supergirl travel from the past, and have Brainiac 6 trying to keep Brainy away from the Legion.Ā  In the end, Supergirl was supposed to leave and consider whether she wanted to move to the future to be with Brainy permanently in the future.Ā  I reaaaaaally wanted to see it. ;o;

There are LoSH comics, but all the reboots confound me.Ā  I really don't know how to handle them.Ā  The show was straight forward, and the designs and costumes were good.

Oooh I see. Hm interesting. And yes, her character really grows.

I loved how each character looked, it was really cool. UGH yea seriously, why did they /not make that next season?! That is just really upsetting v_v

Hmm.. I wonder what the comics are like.. The show was nice enough except when it stopped //cough

Production was planned for the 3rd season, but WB! was taken over by 4kids...Ā  It's 4kids fault.Ā  There's no doubt.Ā  It was a good series.Ā  Static Shock was cancelled due to lack of funding, and most shows are cancelled because they lose popularity (I think).Ā  Not LoSH.

You can preview some of the comics online or through Comixology.Ā  There are so many different reboots, though... v.v;

The uniforms in the comics feel fairly random to me.Ā  Most of the characters do not look alien.Ā  Coluans are not robotic, and I think B5 is generally not involved in direct combat.Ā  Depending on which series you look at, he can be a complete jerk, too.Ā  People's powers and stuff also vary depending on the reboot.Ā  I don't own any, but I've peeked at them and looked up stuff online.Ā  At one point somewhere, Brainiac 5 brings together a total of three Legions from different dimensions to fight Superboy Prime...Ā  The three Brainiac 5s did not get along--or, rather, there was only one that was the peacemaker out of the three. XD

4kids, I blame you for ruining part of my childhood. Jk, but it's sad when shows are cancelled, for whatever reason. Hm.. I may attempt to read the comics, but I cannot promise that I will read all the way if it gets confusing hehe.. All of that sounds a bit odd. However, I shall still try to look at it, just to see for myself what it is like. Oh my, three Legions from different dimensions... that sounds catastrophic O.o

Yeah, I'm not really sure what I'll do...Ā  I wanted to buy some, but they'll all be so different from what I'm used to.Ā  I definitely can't afford all of them, and I straight-up doubt I can buy anything that involves B5 wearing that stupid overcoat-and-turtleneck sweater combo.Ā  Then again, the art looks so nice in the new 52...Ā  Each issue is $2.Ā  It looks fun, but I don't know.

I believe the one with the three Legions is called Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds.Ā  There are five volumes, also of $2 each digitally on Comixology.

Me neither.Ā  It's a tough choice.

There is a set of 20 comics based on the TV show, but the art looked really cartoony.Ā  I read a review that said it was more for younger audiences.

Hmm, yea that might be. It's funny reading or watching something that you used to look at years ago and thought it was cool, and now you can tell the difference in the type of audience it's for.

I never knew Velma (Scooby Doo) was owned by DC! I learned something new today!
When I saw this in my inbox I was instantly happy!
They all look amazing; I especially love Raven's eyes and how they're holding onto each other.
The bookshelves look neat and I love the villains watching them from the back. Even the window in the very back is amazing!
Could I use this as my Halloween wallpaper?

Scooby-Doo has been owned by a few different comic book groups, including DC.

Thank you very much!Ā  You can use it if you'd like.
