The first time I saw this ( a week ago), I just thought it was funny. Then I learned the Ice Bucket Challenge was for ALS (I had no idea what illness it was for). Now it's simply my favourite art of Spinnerette, both official and fanmade! I prefer the smile in the original, though.

It was funny, I first met the guy that does the comic the week that the ice bucket challenge was taking off in the states (I'm UK, was on holiday at convention). So I was reading about the characters whilst this was happening, and then it occurred to me that this would be a perfect contribution/situation for the characters XD
I agree with you on the smile, I don't know why it was changed though :S

Awesome work with Spinny and the Ice Bucket Challenge! This just makes too much sense. Great job with communicating the motivation too, from Spinny's determined smile to Mecha Maid cheering her on.
